We unwelcomed the Tories in Brum

The Tory Conference started at Birmingham's ICC on Broad Street last weekend. The heavy police and security precense was  in place and most of the Cabinet were in the neighbouring Hyatt Hotel ,sealed off from the realities of having to face the public.

But despite this, UNISON and many others like the TUC and The People's Assembly  un-welcomed them to the city and raised awareness of what the Tory Austerity Agenda has done.

On Sunday 2nd October hundreds assembled at 11.30am in Victoria Square, Birmingham and marched through the city towards the finish of the march at Millenium Point.

There were anti-austerity speakers and live music, aswell as the sight of seeing many different unions and others coming together to denounce the government and protest.

Here's some pictures of the occasion.
