US Union Activist to appear in Brum branch event

Noted U.S. Union activist Jane McAlevey is set to visit the Birmingham branch again after a noteworthy appearance last year.

The event is on 15th February 2017  from 5-7pm, at the Branch in McClaren House

Branch Secretary Caroline Johnson said

" We are lucky enough to have secured a slot in Jane McAlevey’s busy schedule in the UK. For those of you that haven’t heard of Jane she is an American union organiser who has written a number of books on the organising methods that she used to teach workers in US hospitals to organise and win big.  Jane will speak for 45 minutes then there will be time for half an hour of questions.  This will then be followed by a buffet and an informal discussion on how we can adopt Jane’s methods to start to win here. "

This is a ticket only event due to limited spaces so if you wish to come book now to avoid disappointment. Call 0121-200-3331 to book a place.
