Come and discover how to use storytelling in work & beyond. There will be a free Quick Read book for participants.

Tuesday 29th January 2019          1.300-4.00  Facing Change/Planning for Retirement

Wednesday 30th January 2019    1.30-4.00 Skills Audits & Personal Development

Friday 1st February 2019     1.30 – 4.00  Personal Stress Management


All workshops will be held at the :-

19th Floor, McLaren Building,

Birmingham B4 7LF

These workshops are open to all staff members, who need to arrange time off to attend if appropriate.

Regional Unison based in Birmingham has some training sessions available in January and February.

  • TUC Union Representatives (Public Sector) Stage 1 - 16 January - 27 March  (10 Wednesdays)
  • Sickness Absence Reviews - 29 January
  • Introduction to Health and Safety- 01 February - 08 March (5 Fridays)
  • Handling Grievance & Disciplinary Casework - 04 February - 05 February

Places can be booked by here or by completing the attached relevant form and returning to Copies are also available in the Education display area in branch reception.

Please disseminate as widely as possible to stewards and activists in your workplaces, sections and wider directorates, and of course please consider them also for your own CPD within branch.

**N.B. if you book a place and then cannot attend, you must notify region as soon as possible as failure to attend without cancelling means that the branch may incur a charge**
