Never mind the pay scales!

Last year BCC were proposeing to overhaul the current pay scales of BCC workers.

The proposal was to do away with the current spinal points  and establish new one, which would be spanning each two of the current ones.

Since then a new Pay and Grading Manager has been appointed and a pay and grading review is suppose to be happening  next April.

However BCC has so far not asked to engage in any discussions with Birmingham Unison about this. Is it a case of never mind the pay scales?  We hope to hear from someone soon so we can get a fair deal for members.
