lifford house homecare strike 1 aug 2018

Home Care workers turned out to picket work places last week and to explain their cause to fellow Council workers.

The Home Care workers have ramped up their efforts to be seen and to get the message over that they feel unfairly treated by the Council's proposals to cut hours and inevitably wages.

Pickets turned out at Lifford House and a number of other Council workplaces. At Lifford there was a PCS steward who turned up to show solidarity with the strikers.
