Councillors get a 4 per cent pay rise

Senior Councillors at BCC are to get a 4% pay rise from May. Special allowances are to get a rise due to the Council says, an  increased workload.

Leader Ian Ward is to get £52,000 plus a basic allowance of around £17,000. Meanwhile Brigid Jones Deputy Leader gets a basic £17,000 plus £41,600 .
