bin strikers

In a post election re-shuffle Council leader Ian Ward is reported to have "binned" Lisa Trickett, the councillor who was responsible for trying to push through the changes which started the long strike action and cost the city miillions in hiring agency staff to cover the strike.

She will be replaced by Coun Majid Mahmood (Hodge Hill).who will also have repsonsibility for pollution charges on vehicles as part of the city centre air quality programme.
