Birmingham Council ward proposals will mean less councillors
The Local Government Boundary Commission is proposing to reduce the number of councillors in Birmingham. 19 councillors will go and new wards will be created.
Wards which use to have three councillors will go and they will be replaced by two or one member wards.
Controversially some hsitorically named wards will cease to exist and there are also some bizarre proposals, which for example, will lead to Moseley village not being in Moseley!
