Bin dispute - an end in sight?

The Birmingham Post reports that the new COuncil leader ian Ward has raised the propspects of a positive resolution to talks with Unions over the Bin Strike.

Maybe the thought of an expensive day or two in the High Court has helped BCC think again? Both sides  might be wise to settle out of court before an expensive process starts on November 27th.

The article contains a few digs at his predessor John Clancy and his handling of the dispute.
