We hope you will find this site useful for information on our current campaigns, branch issues and in finding your branch contacts.

About UNISON

UNISON is Britain's second biggest union with more than 1.4 million members - people working in public services such as in Local Government or the NHS, for private contractors providing public services and in the essential utilities. UNISON is a national, campaigning union and over three quarters of our members are women.

The branch is represented by elected branch officers and directorate stewards who focus on specific issues that affect members and on ensuring all members that need individual representation receive it. Our workplace stewards are a member's first point of call for any enquiries and workplace contacts are well placed to update members about branch issues.

Branch activities include negotiating and campaigning on local issues such as around our contracts of employment, HR Policies and Procedures and equal pay, we also provide workplace and after work lifelong learning activities for all members.
